SNOL ovens for face mask sterilization

April 23, 2020Exhibitions

Personal protective equipment (PPE) shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic have precipitated a wave of creative solutions for repurposing of face masks. Dry heating of the mask at 70°C for 30 minutes has been suggested as a method of decontamination which can adequately kill virus and preserve the filter integrity for re-use. Recent tests of utilizing SARS-CoV-2 specifically indicated that this method can be used for several cycles to kill the virus without compromising fit.
SNOL manufactures low temperature (up to 300°C) ovens which can be used to PPE decontamination.
Excellent temperature uniformity will not allow forming of cold spots in the chamber, where the mask could be improperly sterilized.

Our listed assortment will allow you to not only choose the most suitable oven for your needs, but also fit your available space, where the oven would be placed.
