What are SNOL ovens up to 350°C used for?
SNOL ovens up to 350°C are designed for drying, heating, thermal testing, aging, curing, primary heating and similar thermal processes. They are used in scientific laboratories, educational institutions, medicine and industry, including the electronics, plastics and metals sectors.
Which oven models are available in the up to 350°C range?
The range includes four models: SNOL 58/350 LSN11 and SNOL 58/350 LSP11 (58 L, forced air circulation), and SNOL 67/350 LSN01 and SNOL 67/350 LSP01 (67 L, natural air convection). All four reach a maximum temperature of 350°C.
What is the difference between forced and natural air circulation models?
The SNOL 58/350 models use a fan for forced horizontal air circulation, which gives better temperature uniformity (3°C) and stability (1). The SNOL 67/350 models work with natural convection and no fan (uniformity 7.2°C, stability 2), which is useful for light, powdery or sensitive samples that should not be moved by airflow.
What is the difference between the LSN and LSP versions?
For the SNOL 58/350 models, the LSN11 version has a 304 stainless steel chamber, while the LSP11 version has a mild steel chamber. Stainless steel offers better corrosion resistance and easier cleaning; mild steel is the more economical choice. Contact SNOL to confirm the chamber material of the 67/350 versions for your order.
What chamber sizes do the ovens have?
The SNOL 58/350 ovens have a 58 L chamber measuring 390 × 375 × 360 mm (W × D × H). The SNOL 67/350 ovens have a 67 L chamber measuring 390 × 445 × 390 mm.
What are the external dimensions and weight of the ovens?
The SNOL 58/350 ovens measure 670 × 615 × 580 mm and the SNOL 67/350 ovens measure 675 × 625 × 600 mm (W × D × H). All models weigh about 40 kg net, so they fit on a laboratory bench or on the optional support table.
What power supply do the ovens need?
All ovens in this range have a rated power of 2 kW and run on a standard single-phase 230 V, 50 Hz supply, so no three-phase connection is required.
How fast do the ovens heat up?
The maximum heating-up time without a charge is 40 minutes for all models. The ovens are also designed for short cooling-down periods and low electricity use.
What is the continuous operating temperature range?
The continuous operating temperature is specified as T+10 to 350°C, meaning the ovens can work continuously from about 10°C above ambient temperature up to the 350°C maximum.
How many shelves are included?
Each oven comes with 3 shelves and can hold up to 7. Additional shelves, reinforced shelves for heavier loads and a metal tray are available as options.
Which temperature controller is used?
All models use a microprocessor temperature controller with the control panel on the left side of the oven. The SNOL 67/350 LSP01 is fitted with a non-programmable Omron E5CC controller.
What optional equipment can be added?
Options include additional or reinforced shelves, a metal tray, a digital timer, a buzzer, over-temperature protection, a data recorder, data communication via USB, calibration of the temperature measurement system, a stainless steel exterior, a support table and an additional 1-year warranty.
Are the ovens safe and asbestos-free?
Yes. The ovens are insulated with rock wool and contain no asbestos. The door has a stainless steel inner side with a silicone seal, and over-temperature protection can be added as an option for extra process safety.
What warranty do the ovens have?
The standard warranty is 1 year, and an additional 1-year warranty extension can be ordered as an option.
Where are SNOL ovens manufactured?
SNOL ovens are designed by SNOL engineers and manufactured in the company’s own factory, using heavy-duty metal parts, quality thermal insulation and certified heating elements.
